Sprint Internet Services offer several choices to service different connection and network requirements.
Sprint FastConnect DSL is Sprint Nextel’s version of conventional DSL. It enhances the Internet experience for its subscribers by allowing simultaneous phone functionality with high-speed Internet connectivity without the need of an additional phone line.
In addition, Sprint FastConnect allows clients to achieve Internet connection speeds 50 times faster compared to conventional modems. Consumers can download music, view live streams, and enjoy thousands of other Internet applications in a fraction of the time of conventional dial-up services.
The Sprint Internet Network
- Available in over 100 countries worldwide via wholly-owned SprintLink and reseller platforms
- Port speeds ranging from 56 Kbps to 10Gbps, depending on location. It may also require an SCA.
- Sprint Internet Service pay rates available either in fixed monthly (flat rate) plans and variable, or in usage-based (burstable) plans, depending on location.
- Available with flexible local access options which includes:
- Sprint Provided Access (SPA)
- Customer Provided Access (CPA)
- Enhanced Sprint Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) access in select markets
- Available as a usage-based (burstable) Reserve Port. It provides back-up service in the event of a failure on the primary dedicated IP port of the customer from another provider.
- Available without the need for local access in various networking facilities across the globe, including:
- Sprint IP Shared Tenant sites
- Sprint-leased collocation facilities outside the United States
- Backed by industry-leading Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for availability, delay, packet loss and installation. The SLA metrics vary by region and/or platform.
